Smiths News Head Office
A large-scale corporate AV rollout designed for seamless conferencing and workplace collaboration.
Working alongside Savills and a diverse team of architects and contractors, we designed and implemented a comprehensive audio-visual infrastructure for the Smiths News head office. This project required a high level of technical coordination, from initial cabling specifications for the onsite electrical teams to deep-level integration with the client's internal IT department to ensure the final solution met their rigorous security and management standards.
The centrepiece of the installation is the Client Suite Boardroom, featuring dual 75-inch displays for high-impact conferencing and presentations. This space is powered by a Yamaha Adecía system, utilising advanced table microphones and integrated cameras to provide a seamless, studio-quality communication experience. The suite is completed by two additional high-spec meeting rooms, each equipped with dedicated conferencing hardware and 65-inch displays.
Across the wider office, we kitted out two executive suites and five internal meeting rooms with consistent presentation and conferencing equipment to ensure a uniform user experience. To streamline office flow, every space is managed by Logitech TAP schedulers, providing staff with an intuitive, one-touch booking system. We also provided a 75-inch media display with Freesat connectivity for the staff breakout area, ensuring a versatile environment for both formal work and communal relaxation.
