At Sonic Vision, we’ve built our reputation on a shared passion for great sound, thoughtful design, and technical excellence.
Founded in 2010 by me, Ben Cook and Ben (Stanley) Stansfield, Sonic Vision brings together decades of experience in audiovisual engineering and smart home technology — all focused on delivering high-quality media room and AV solutions.
We first met while working for Richer Sounds back in 2008. Stan’s background in computer science and my experience in audiovisual installation, combined with an enthusiasm for woodworking, proved to be an ideal partnership. Over the years, we’ve found that our skill sets complement each other perfectly when it comes to creating high-performance media environments.
Stan brings a meticulous eye for detail and a natural talent for systems design and programming. I’ve always had a lifelong passion for crafting immersive spaces — where lighting, sound, and visuals come together to create something truly special.
During the pandemic, we had the opportunity to explore new ideas and began experimenting with CAD design and CNC machining for manufacturing audiovisual furniture. The results were exceptional. This approach allowed us to produce discreet, precision-built installations that deliver incredible sound quality — far beyond what’s typically achievable with traditional installation methods.
What started as a shared love of sound and design has grown into a business built on craftsmanship, precision, and pride in our work. We still get the same excitement today seeing a finished room come to life as we did with our first project — and that passion continues to drive everything we do at Sonic Vision.
